Operations Program Manager, K-12 School in Atlanta
Jenny began her career in the classroom as a high-school math teacher in Dekalb County, GA. After several years teaching, she decided she wanted to move into the operations side of education. Jenny earned her MPA with an emphasis in Nonprofit Management from Georgia State University to add to her undergraduate Finance and International Affairs degrees from the University of Georgia. In addition to her time in education, she has also spent time working in state and local government as aides to a Georgia state senator and an intern for a U.S. Congressman.
In her current role as Operations Program Manager, she’s responsible for bringing people, processes, and technology together to provide smooth, efficient operations across the entire campus. She developed and managed a new contactless offboarding process used across all departments within the school. She has also worked with multiple stakeholders in various departments across the school to select and implement a new software solution integrating carline, wellness screening, and visitor management currently being put into use by all three schools at their 1,200-student campus.
