This past year has flown by, and it’s time again to call on everyone to recognize the IT pros making a difference in our lives. These are the people adapting to increasing complexities, reduced budgets, shrinking headcounts, the ever-changing landscape of IT, and more in the day-to-day operations that keep our companies moving forward. From helpdesk technicians to cloud architects and everything in between, you’re the people who continue driving us toward our shared goals.
I love reading the stories shared by folks honoring time invested, inspiring actions, cooperation, collaboration, and everything else that tech pros put into every project. Any good experience, large or small, should be recognized. And while I hope you all get praised throughout the year, now’s the time to really celebrate!
A big shout-out to some of our own IT pros here at SolarWinds, many of whom I’ve gotten to connect with throughout the year. Josh Vanhoose and Noel Barbee joined me at THWACKcamp™ to discuss how security teams work with our IT department on a regular basis, while Tara Bourke spoke on TechPod, explaining how our IT department upped their game when it came to communication with the wider company. There are so many stories that don’t get shared, but now’s a great opportunity to give them the attention they deserve.
So, let’s raise a glass, bottle, or can of your drink of choice to all the IT pros doing great work out there.
