Need for Speed: How SolarWinds Supports Its Partners in the Age of Digital Transformation

One of the biggest challenges organizations face in the current age of digital transformation is the issue of complexity. As the technology landscape continues to expand, organizations are increasingly moving away from centralized management to a more decentralized model. For many enterprises, monitoring, managing, and securing traditional and cloud-based infrastructures is becoming more difficult.
The digitization of business makes it clear—speed is a differentiating factor for business continuity regardless of an organization’s size. In turn, many companies entrust consulting and support services to manage their technology to business partners. Or they outsource the management and monitoring of the many interconnected tools needed to manage the provisioning, capacity, performance, and availability of computing, networking, and applications they’re running to their IT service providers.
To meet this need, we’ve developed our IT operations management strategy. Our portfolio of products gives organizations—regardless of type, size, or complexity—the power to monitor, manage, and secure their IT infrastructures, networks, servers, applications, and data across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. All from a single integrated pane of glass for an improved customer experience. And bringing tangible and immediate benefits.
The Partner Ecosystem – A Win-Win for All
Our IT operations management strategy supports our Partners, including distributors, industry-leading technology resellers, and service providers. At the same time, this opens new business opportunities for them: they gain access to a full-stack product portfolio covering everything they need to control and manage their customers' network and IT—enabling them to leverage their growth ambitions together with SolarWinds. Win-win situations like these help make the digital transformation in businesses a success—and to regain speed.
To empower and support our Partners in the best possible way, we listen to them closely to understand their needs. We especially value the fact that our Partners can familiarize themselves as deeply as possible with our powerful and affordable suite of software, introducing elements like enablement initiatives, dedicated technical support, and ongoing training. The better our Partners know the interconnected set of solutions, the better they can support their customers’ complex environments for today’s needs and tomorrow’s challenges.
Most importantly, we believe providing the best possible resources is critical to successful partnerships, so we invest in areas like ongoing free technical training with product experts including certification at our SolarWinds Certified Professional® (SCP) Bootcamp events.
As I mentioned previously, for SolarWinds our Partner strategy is focused on the feedback we receive and steady conversations we have. An important platform for the exchange of information and knowledge is our annual EMEA Partner Summit. The event offers a collegial setting for in-depth training and enablement, networking opportunities, and exchange of experience.
At the beginning of 2020, the SolarWinds Partner Summit was held in Berlin before the pandemic occurred. The event saw over 140 participants from over 30 countries across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and was the largest SolarWinds EMEA Partner Summit of its type to date. The feedback we received following this year’s event was very positive and we feel our technical and sales sessions hit the nail on the head for attendees. They had the opportunity to take part in SCP exams and receive the SCP certificate for various product categories. Additionally, we trained sales teams to gain the SolarWinds Sales Expert (SSE) accreditation.
Looking ahead to next year, it’s more important than ever to be a trustworthy vendor to our collaborating Partners in the post-crisis era. Our goal is to continue to enhance empowerment and growth for our Partners with the crisis having accelerated the shift to digital. To provide valuable knowledge resources for a deeper understanding, helping to gain product expertise, and to develop close relationships, we’ll bring Partners together in a virtual conference. From strong keynotes, sales, and technical trainings to certifications and meetups—we have it all. We look forward to lively online discussions with our EMEA Partners at the SolarWinds Virtual Partner Summit in January 2021.
