SolarWinds Named a January 2019 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for APM Suites

We are excited to announce that SolarWinds® AppOptics and SolarWinds Server and Application Monitor (SAM) have been recognized as a January 2019 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Application Performance Monitoring (APM) Suites.

In its announcement, Gartner explains, “The Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice is a recognition of vendors in this market by verified end-user professionals, taking into account both the number of reviews and the overall user ratings.” To ensure fair evaluation, Gartner maintains rigorous criteria for recognizing vendors with a high customer satisfaction rate.

Our AppOptics team considers this recognition a distinguished honor as it’s based on honest customer feedback. Here are just a few of the reviews that were shared:

AppOptics for the win! Great product, very stable, and easy to use. It didn’t take very long for setup and implementation to complete. We were able to get some good reports from this tool and support is never a problem.” – software engineer, services

“Excellent monitoring tool with ease of setup and a lot of solid features. Great price point that made it a huge competitor.” – CTO, services

“We selected AppOptics as a replacement for our previous monitoring service. It was simple to install and configure. Several dashboards were configured “out-of-the-box” and we felt it was much simpler to use and navigate than the previous vendor.” – CTO, services

“Very good technical support and after-sales care. Agents were easy to install and trace history is comprehensive.” – CTO, finance

It is hard to believe it has been a year since we introduced AppOptics. In that year, we have doubled our integrations, added support for containers, delivered a powerful infrastructure host map view, provided the capability to drill down from a host directly into a SolarWinds Loggly® or SolarWinds Papertrail log in context, made it easy to move between AppOptics and the other DevOps tools, and provided more out-of-the-box metrics and dashboards.

We are very grateful to our customers who have helped us understand what is important to them and have guided us along this journey. We are looking forward to 2019 because we have more great things to come based on your feedback. We will strive to innovate and solve real problems, so we can continue to earn your loyalty and deliver value every day.

To everyone who submitted a review, thank you!  These reviews feed into our product process and shape the future direction of AppOptics. Please keep the feedback coming because it is because of you, our users, that AppOptics is great.
